Under the deal, images of Manchester United will be featured on the packages of YOU C1000 Lemon and Orange Water. These packages will also contain information about promotions, competitions and events that can be joined by the Indonesian consumers. Prices include tickets to see Manchester United play a home game at Old Trafford as well as the club's signed merchandise.

Both sides see great potential in the partnership. Richard Arnold, Manchester United Group Managing Director, said Indonesia is home to some of Manchester United most passionate fans. By the inclusion of Manchester United's images on the packages, the football club's brand will be spread further across Indonesia. YOU C1000 Lemon and Orange Water are drinks that can be bought in millions of small, mid-sized and large supermarkets across the world's largest archipelago. Indonesia has a population that numbers over 250 million people.

Djojonegoro C-1000 is the Indonesia-based company, founded in 2003, that produces YOU C1000 Vitamin C Health & Isotonic beverages under the license from House Wellness Foods (which is one of the largest food & beverage companies in Japan). These drinks, reportedly, help to protect the body's immune system. The company is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified.

For Djojonegoro C-1000 the partnership not only adds to its prestige but the firm's drinks are also expected to become more popular as many Indonesian Manchester United fans will be eager to join the competitions to win tickets to visit Old Trafford or win signed merchandise.

Earlier this month it was reported that Indonesian airline Garuda Indonesia may not extend its sponsorship deal with English Premier League football club Liverpool due to financial difficulties. In early 2014 Garuda Indonesia signed a two-year deal with Liverpool Football Club to become the club's first training kit sponsor. This deal is set to expire in mid-2016.
