  • Bank Dinar Indonesia Sets Share Price for IPO on Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Bank Dinar Indonesia announced to set its share price at IDR 110 per share at the initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The company hopes to raise IDR 55 billion (USD $4.6 million) by offering 500 million new shares, or 22.22 percent of its enlarged capital, to the public. Approximately 75 percent of the proceeds will be used for credit disbursement expansion, while the remainder will be used to finance the establishment of nine new offices. Underwriter of the IPO is Andalan Artha Advisindo Sekuritas.

  • Batavia Prosperindo Internasional’s IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Batavia Prosperindo Internasional, an Indonesian business and management consultancy services firm, set its share price in the range of IDR 450 to IDR 500 (roughly USD $0.04) for its initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (this price range is in line with the company’s price to earnings ratio at between 8.2 to 9.2 times). Through this corporate action the company will release 29.18 percent of its enlarged capital. General Director Rudi Setiadi said that the company intends to offer 150 million shares to the public.

  • Phapros to Conduct Initial Public Offering on Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Phapros, subsidiary of state-owned Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia, intends to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 by offering 10 to 20 percent of its enlarged capital to the public. Through this corporate action, Phapros, a pharmaceutical products manufacturer, aims to raise IDR 500 billion (USD $42.3 million) which will be used to finance the company's capital expenditure in the next two years. The company expects to grow on the implementation of Indonesia’s social security program per 1 January 2014.

  • Link Net Conducted Successful IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    On Monday (02/06), Indonesian Internet services provider Link Net conducted its initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Despite the negative market sentiments (brought on by the release of Indonesia's wide April 2014 trade deficit), the company's shares rose 50 percent on its trading debut. Offered at IDR 1,600 (USD $0.14) per share at the start of trading, the shares finished at IDR 2,600 (USD $0.28) on Monday. Ciptadana Securities was appointed as lead underwriter for the IPO.

  • Link Net Sets Share Price for IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Indonesian Internet services provider Link Net decided to set its share price for the company's initial public offering (IPO) at IDR 1,600 (USD $0.14), the upper level of the indicative price as investor demand is expected to be high. The company, a subsidiary of First Media (cable-TV operator and Internet services provider), offers 304 million shares, or 10 percent of its enlarged capital between 22 and 23 May 2014. The listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange is planned for 2 June 2014. Lead underwriter is Ciptadana Securities.

  • Indonesian Furniture Manufacturer Chitose Internasional Prepares an IPO

    Chitose Internasional, an Indonesian furniture manufacturer intends to release 30 percent of its enlarged capital through an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in June 2014. Currently, the company is trying to obtain approval from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) in order to conduct the IPO. President Director of Chitose Internasional Dedie Suherlan said that the proceeds will be used for the construction of a new factory, which will produce wood-based furniture products. This factory should become operational in 2015.

    Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK) announced that it is studying the requests of seven Indonesian companies to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the first semester (January-June) of 2014. If the OJK grants permission to these requests, it means that 17 companies will have conducted an IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the first half of 2014.     On Tuesday (08/04), Wijaya Karya Beton (Wika Beton) was officially listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) with listed company code WTON. Wika Beton, a subsidiary of majority state-owned construction company Wijaya Karya, specializes in the precast concrete industry of Indonesia.     Indonesian property developer Poris Benteng Betawi may conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015. Proceeds from the IPO would be used to finance a 20-hectare wide superblock project involving apartment and office towers, a school, hospital, mall and hotel in Tangerang (West Java). The company offers 531.4 million shares, or 20 percent of its enlarged capital, to the public. However, the company is yet to determine the share price for the IPO.     In the first half of 2014, 13 Indonesian companies conducted an initial public offering (IPO), including one relisting, on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Total proceeds that were raised in the IPOs by these 13 companies was IDR 4.05 trillion (USD $340.3 million). However, both results were weaker than those in the same period last year. In the first half of 2013, 17 new listings were registered on the IDX and which managed to raise a combined total of IDR 10 trillion (USD $840.3 million).   • Week Full of New Company Listings on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    After Bank Panin Syariah became Indonesia's first newly listed company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the year 2014, it was quickly followed by four more listings in this past week. On Thursday (16/01), three new listings were conducted - Asuransi Mitra Maparya (ASMI), Bank Ina Perdana (BINA) and Capitol Nusantara Indonesia (CANI) - as well as one relisting - Tunas Alfin (TALF). The latter had delisted from the Surabaya Stock Exchange in December 2009 after the exchanges of Jakarta and Surabaya merged into the IDX.

  • Two Indonesian Airlines Plan Corporate Actions for Business Expansion

    Garuda Indonesia, the country's top-class airline, is planning to conduct a rights issue in the first quarter of 2014. Through this corporate action, which has already been approved by the shareholders, the state-controlled company aims to raise IDR 2 trillion (USD $162.6 million). For 2014, the airline plans to allocate IDR 4 trillion in capital expenditure (capex) for business expansion. About half of this amount should originate from funds generated through the rights issue.
