  • 9 Companies Ready for Initial Public Offering on Indonesia Stock Exchange

    At least nine companies are ready to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the next two months. Among these nine companies are: Megapower Makmur, Cikarang Listrindo, Duta Inti Daya, Sillo Maritime Perdana, Bank Ganesha and Graha Andrasentra Propertindo. So far this year only three companies have been added to the Indonesian bourse. Due to economic uncertainties in recent years (making investors cautious), few companies have been eager to list on the IDX since 2014.

  • Tony Fernandes Confirms Indonesia AirAsia's IPO Plan

    Low-cost airline Indonesia AirAsia plans to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in late-2017. This IPO plan has been agreed upon by the management and shareholders of the company. AirAsia Chief Executive Officer Tony Fernandes said there are two main reasons why Indonesia AirAsia would like to become a listed company: (1) to improve transparency and corporate management, and (2) to allow Indonesian investors to join in on Indonesia AirAsia's profit and business growth.

  • Hutama Karya Unit HK Realtindo Plans IPO on Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Indonesia-based property developer HK Realtindo, subsidiary of state-owned firm Hutama Karya, plans to release a 30 percent stake through an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the fourth quarter of 2016. Funds generated through the IPO will be used for further business expansion. The company eyes 30 new projects in 2016, including the Trans Sumatra toll road. The company also plans to issue IDR 500 billion (approx. USD $36 million) in bonds and IDR 250 billion in medium term notes.

  • IPO News Indonesia: Bank Artos Listed on the Stock Exchange

    Bank Artos Indonesia became the first company to list on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2016. The Bandung-based private lender was warmly welcomed by investors. During its trading debut on Tuesday (12/01) the company's shares rose 31.1 percent. Through the initial public offering (IPO) Bank Artos Indonesia raised IDR 31.8 billion (approx. USD $2.3 million) by offering 241.3 million new shares, or 20 percent of the company's enlarged capital at IDR 132 per share.

  • IPO of Mahaka Radio Integra on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Indonesian radio broadcasting company Mahaka Radio Integra, part of the Mahaka Group, plans to acquire one radio station in Jakarta as well as two new radio stations in Medan and Makassar in 2016. Through these acquisitions the company aims to control a 30-40 percent market share in the nation's radio industry by 2017. To finance these corporate actions Mahaka Radio Integra will use part of proceeds from the initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) this month.

  • IPOs on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Disappointing in 2015, Better in 2016?

    Today, Indonesian integrated fishery, marine product processing and cold storage company Dua Putra Utama Makmur will be listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), hence becoming the 13th company to have conducted an initial public offering (IPO) on the IDX this year. Previously it was reported that the IPO of Dua Putra Utama Makmur was oversubscribed 1.5 times, reflecting robust demand. Overall, however, the number of IPOs on the IDX has been disappointing in 2015. Next year is expected to be a better year.

    Due to the Indonesian government's push to develop the nation's maritime sector, the initial public offering (IPO) of Dua Putra Utama Makmur, an Indonesian integrated fishery, marine product processing and cold storage company, was oversubscribed 1.5 times. I Made Satyaguna, Head of Investor Relations at Dua Putra Utama Makmur, said the company's target of raising IDR 921 billion (approx. USD $67 million) through the IPO has been achieved.     Ateliers Mecanique D'Indonesie, better known as Atmindo, will offer 240 million new shares, equivalent to 22.2 percent of the company's enlarged capital, to the public for a price of IDR 120-140 per share in an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in December 2015. Through this corporate action, the boiler manufacturer targets to raise up to IDR 33.6 billion (approx. USD $2.5 million). The setting of the share price in the IPO is based on a price-to-earnings ratio of 8.0 - 9.3 times.

  • IPO Buyung Poetra Sembada on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Indonesian rice producer Buyung Poetra Sembada will offer 710 million new shares, or 30.08 percent of the company's expanded capital, to the market through an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The new shares will be offered at between IDR 420-500 per share, hence aiming to raise up to IDR 355 billion (approx. USD $26 million), in December 2015. Buyung Poetra Sembada is a rice producer known for its Topi Koki brand. Underwriter for the offering is Bahana Securities.

    Indonesian general contractor Paramita Bangun Sarana targets to raise up to IDR 350 billion (approx. USD $26.5 million) through an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The company will offer up to 300 million shares, equivalent to 20 percent of its enlarged capital, to investors through the corporate move. Vincentius Susanto, Secretary at Paramita Bangun Sarana, said the indicative price for shares is set in the range of IDR 1,000 - 1,300 a piece. The offering period for the shares is scheduled for 16 - 20 September 2016, while listing on the (IDX) is scheduled for 27 September.
