    Indonesia Investments uploaded the preliminary company profile of Intraco Penta (INTA). The company is an Indonesian heavy equipment manufacturer and distributor which distributes various heavy equipment brands, such as Volvo, Ingersoll-Rand, Bobcat, SDLG, Mahindra and Sinotruk. The company integrates a wide range of businesses from sales of heavy equipments (both new and used), financing, rental of heavy equipments, manufacturing, engineering and mining contracting.

  • Enhanced Financial Cooperation Central Banks of Indonesia and Japan

    The Bank of Japan (BoJ) and Bank Indonesia (BI) signed the third Bilateral Swap Arrangement (BSA) on 12 December 2013. The arrangement is an expansion of the current BSA which almost doubles the size of the facility from USD $12 billion to $22.76 billion. This arrangement also introduces a new feature in the form of a crisis prevention scheme to support potential and/or actual liquidity needs. Both institutions also agreed to establish a cross-border liquidity arrangement to enhance the stability of financial markets.

  • Popular Trading Debut for Sawit Sumbermas Sarana on Stock Exchange

    Sawit Sumbermas Sarana (SSMS), a palm oil plantation company that conducted its initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday (12/12), aims for a 15 percent growth (yoy) in net profit in 2014 to IDR 207 billion (USD $17.3 million) as the price of crude palm oil (CPO) is expected to improve. The company's listing on the stock exchange (IDX) was a success, rising almost 12 percent on its debut, supported by foreign enthusiasm. Foreign institutional investors bought 81 percent of the stocks that were issued.
