Namun, institusi ini juga menekankan bahwa Indonesia perlu melaksanakan pekerjaan rumahnya dalam rangka mendapatkan keuntungan optimal dari bonus demografi negara dan bergabung dengan kelompok negara berpendapatan menengah ke atas.

  • Units of Mitsubishi & L’Oreal Open Factories in Indonesia

    This week L’Oreal Indonesia opened its new factory in Cikarang (West Java), while Mitsubishi Motors Krama Yudha Indonesia started construction of a new car manufacturing plant, in Cikarang as well. Both factories will produce products for the Indonesian market and the regional ASEAN market as well as non-ASEAN markets. The Indonesian government will be pleased to see these investment commitments as it is eager to increase exports from Southeast Asia’s largest economy in order to curb the wide current account deficit.

  • Subsidized Gasoline Price Indonesia May Rise in April on Higher Oil Price

    The Indonesian government may raise the price of subsidized gasoline for April 2015 as the Indonesian Crude Price (ICP) rose through February and March from USD $52 per barrel to USD $57 per barrel based on data from the upstream oil & gas regulator SKK Migas. After the Indonesian government drastically reduced fuel subsidy spending at the start of 2015, subsidized gasoline prices are now set each month, in line with price fluctuations on the world market. For subsidized diesel the government provides a fixed IDR 1,000 per liter.

  • IPO Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    On Tuesday (24/03), Indonesian hospital operator Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat became the second company to list on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015. It turned out to be a highly successful initial public offering (IPO) as the company’s shares surged 24.7 percent on its trading debut, reflecting investors’ solid confidence in healthcare stocks. Mitra Keluarga, subsidiary of pharmaceutical company Kalbe Farma, raised IDR 4.4 trillion (USD $341 million), hence constituting the largest IPO since Garuda Indonesia’s IPO in 2011.
