As usual in recent years, the brothers Robert Budi Hartono and Michael Hartono top the ranking in Forbes' March 2014 edition. The brothers primarily acquired their wealth through activities in the banking and tobacco industries, owning large stakes in Bank Central Asia (BCA) and Djarum (a cigarette manufacturer). However, their wealth is slightly down from the November 2013 edition in which it was estimated at USD $15 billion.
