Clients of the company are mainly from the following industries: coal mining and trading, metallurgical, power plants, cement factories, and forestry.
At the end of 2012, Trans Power Marine owned 21 tug boat units (with power capacity ranging from 1,500 HP to 2,400 HP) and 23 fleets of barges units (cargo capacities ranging from 8,000 MT to 10,000 MT. Both types have an average economic life of five years.
Although the company was relatively unaffected by the plunge of coal prices, the company decided to reduce its dependence on coal by diversifying its shipment to other bulk goods (including clinker, wood-chip, iron sand and kiln).
