PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantations Tbk is an Indonesian integrated agribusiness company that operates in oil palm and rubber plantations. It produces palm oil and its derivatives, and processes natural rubber products as well as oleo-chemicals. At the end of 2014, the company managed oil palm and rubber plantations with a total planted area of 106,844 hectares, supported by five palm oil processing plants, four natural rubber processing plants as well as two areas of oleo-chemicals processing facilities with a total joint production capacity of 478,240 MT.

Although initially focused on the production of rubber, Bakrie Sumatera Plantations made the palm oil industry its core business in the last decades. It currently owns 73,462 hectares of planted palm oil plantation and 19,174 hectares of rubber plantation. In 2014, around 78 percent of the company's total sales constitutes palm oil products, while rubber accounts for around 22 percent of total sales. Production of oleo-chemicals started recently. This business segment focuses on the processing of fatty acid, fatty alcohol and glycerin. However, operations were halted temporarily in 2014 due to operational constraints.
In 2014, Bakrie Sumatera Plantations operated five palm oil mills, with a total output capacity of 229 tons of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) per hour. These mills are located in Kisaran and Labuhan Batu (North Sumatra), Pasaman (West Sumatra), Muaro Jambi and Tanjung Jabung Barat (Jambi).
At end-2014, total planted areas of rubber plantation amounted to 19,381 ha, a 1.07 percent growth compared to 19,174 ha in 2013. This includes 14,948 ha of mature plantations, and 4,433 ha of immature plantations. The company has four natural rubber processing factories producing a range of natural rubber products in the forms of RSS-1, Centrifuge Latex, SIR 3 CV, SIR 10/20 and BSR. Total installed plant capacity in 2014 was 48,345 MT per year.
