That global demand for Indonesian commodities in both the mining and agriculture sectors is still far from recovered is reflected by several financial reports, covering financial results over the first half of 2013, that were published today (15/08). Three Indonesian companies engaged in Indonesia's mining and agriculture sectors posted significantly reduced net profits compared to the same period in 2012. These companies are Indo Tambangraya Megah, Salim Ivomas Pratama, and Perusahaan Perkebunan London Sumatra Indonesia.

PT Indo Tambangraya Megah Tbk (ITMG) is one of the leading coal producing companies in Indonesia. The company's main businesses include integrated coal mining, coal processing and operational logistics. The mining locations of Indo Tambangraya Megah are spread across six concession areas, all of which are currently operational and productive. Four concession areas are located in East Kalimantan, one in South Kalimantan, and the other one in both East and Central Kalimantan.

Last week shareholders of Indonesia-based coal mining company Indo Tambangraya Megah decided to distribute USD $252 million in dividends to the company's shareholders, implying a nearly 100 percent dividend payout ratio of its full-year 2017 net income. The dividend payout is divided into USD $105 million worth of interim dividend (IDR 1,300 per share) and USD $147 million worth of final dividend (IDR 1,840 per share). Interim dividend was distributed on 21 November 2017, while the final dividend will be paid on 20 April 2018.
