The newly listed company offered 160 million shares, or 21.05 percent of its total share equity, to the public through the initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The offering price was set IDR 250 (approx. USD $0.02) a piece, hence Mark Dynamics Indonesia collected IDR 40 billion (approx. USD $3 million). Panin Sekuritas was the underwriter for the IPO.

Slightly over 32 percent of the collected funds are to be used to purchase new land in Tanjung Morawa (North Sumatra) and build infrastructure needed for expansion of the company's production lines. Currently, the company owns and operates seven factories. However, it wants to build two new ones and therefore requires additional land. Meanwhile, nearly 68 percent of the funds generated through the IPO will be used for the (partial) repayment of debt to Bank Permata.

Ten percent of the stocks offered during the IPO are allocated to the employee stock option plan (ESOP).

Mark Dynamics Indonesia targets to boost its production capacity of ceramic hand formers to 420 thousand units per month in 2017, up from a production capacity of 280 thousand units per month last year. Rising production (capacity) should also boost the company's earnings to IDR 252 billion in 2017 (the board's target). In full-year 2016 the company's net sales reached IDR 207.22 billion (approx. USD $16 million).

Currently, exports contribute around 90 percent to the company's total earnings with Malaysia being the main export destination (from Malaysia, conveniently located across North Sumatra, Mark Dynamics Indonesia generates 65 percent of its total sales and therefore this forms a crucial market for the company). However, in the future the company wants to add new export markets to its portfolio. It are particularly glove manufacturers that order ceramic hand formers from Mark Dynamics Indonesia.

At its trading debut shares of Mark Dynamics Indonesia surged nearly 50 percent. By 14:30 pm local Jakarta time on Thursday (13/07) its shares touched IDR 448 a piece, nearly 80 percent higher than the offering price during the IPO.
