  • Rajawali Corpora Plans IPO for Archi Indonesia on Stock Exchange

    Gold miner Archi Indonesia, a subsidiary of Rajawali Corpora, expects to collect USD $200 million through an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) before the end of the year. The company will offer between 15 and 20 percent of its enlarged share capital to the public. It appointed two local securities firms, including Danareksa Sekuritas, and two foreign securities firms as underwriters. So far this year, 18 companies have conducted an IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

  • Who Are the Richest Indonesians? Forbes March 2014 Rich List Released

    Forbes magazine, an American business magazine, released its latest updated 'Indonesian rich list' on Tuesday (04/03), containing the names of those Indonesians that are assessed as the country's wealthiest people. Combined, the top ten of richest Indonesians hold USD $35.5 billion, which is roughly equal to one-third of Indonesia's total foreign exchange reserves at the end of February 2014, or, four percent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP) in 2013 (USD $878 billion).

  • Award for Express Transindo Utama as Revenue and Share Price Grow

    Express Transindo Utama (TAXI), an Indonesian taxi operator controlled by Peter Sondakh's Rajawali Corpora, received the award for 'Warta Ekonomi's Best New Listed Company'. Warta Ekonomi is one of Indonesia's renowned business and economic magazines. The taxi operator received the award because its business is experiencing good growth as can be seen from its stock performance. In 2013, its shares rose 72.94 percent. The company is the first, and only, taxi operator that went public on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

  • Express Transindo Utama Takes Over Ekspres Mulia Kencana for US $6.87 million

    Express Transindo Utama (Express), the Indonesian taxi operator that is controlled by Peter Sondakh's Rajawali Corpora, has acquired an entire stake in Jakarta-based taxi operator Ekspres Mulia Kencana for IDR 67 billion (USD $6.87 million). This take over - which had been announced last year - will add 2,000 licensed taxi units to the company's current total taxi fleet size of about 8,000 taxis (which are primarily in operation in the Greater Jakarta area).
