Criteria for the award winners included actively traded stocks, significantly rising share prices, profitability, 300+ shareholders, equity of above IDR 50 billion (USD $4.3 million), and a good track record of accounting.

At the ceremony, Chairman of Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) Muliaman Hadad said “I am glad to see that amid Indonesia's slowing growth, these companies manage to weather the downturn. Although growth is slowing, I believe that we are heading toward a more stable type of economic growth."
