  • Strong Debut Merdeka Copper Gold on Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Shares of Indonesian mining company Merdeka Copper Gold rose about 15 percent on its trading debut on Friday (19/06). The company, a subsidiary of Saratoga Capital, was the sixth company to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015. Head of Finance and Corporate Secretary Ellie Turjandi said that Merdeka’s shares had been oversubscribed nearly 40 times during the public offering (11-15 June 2015), reflecting investors’ confidence even though the company has not yet begun production.

  • IPO News Indonesia: Binakarya Jaya Abadi & Anabatic Technologies

    Two companies announced to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) this month in order to raise funds for further business expansion. These companies are property developer Binakarya Jaya Abadi and IT solutions provider Anabatic Technologies. Up to the start of June, a total of five companies have been listed (including the relisting of Mitra Energi Persada) on the IDX this year. The IDX targets to list a total of 32 companies on the exchange this year.

  • Initial Public Offering (IPO) Puradelta Lestari on Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Industrial estate developer Puradelta Lestari, unit of Singapore-listed Sinarmas Land Ltd, was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Friday (29/05) thus becoming the fifth firm to go public on the IDX in 2015. Through the initial public offering (IPO) Puradelta Lestari raised IDR 1 trillion (USD $76 million) by offering 4.8 billion shares to the public, equivalent to ten percent of the company’s enlarged capital, for a price of IDR 210 per share. On the first trading day, shares of the company rose 4.29 percent.

  • Indonesia Stock Market News: Solid Trading Debut PP Properti on IDX

    Pembangunan Perumahan Properti (PP Properti), a property developer and unit of state-controlled Pembangunan Perumahan (PP), made a successful listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today (19/05). Shares of PP Properti soared 35 percent at its trading debut. After Bank Yudha Bhakti (BBYD) and Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat (MIKA), PP Properti (PPRO) is the third Indonesian company to have conducted an initial public offering (IPO) in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (Mitra Energi Persada had relisted earlier in May 2015).

  • IPO Pembangunan Perumahan Properti on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Indonesian property firm Pembangunan Perumahan Properti (PP Properti), which conducts its initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) this month, expects to raise IDR 908.8 billion (USD $69 million) for further business expansion through this corporate action. This figure is much lower than its initial target of IDR 1.57 trillion. PP Properti plans to sell 35 percent of the company’s enlarged capital. The price per share is set at IDR 185 with the offering period between 11 and 13 May 2015.

  • Relisting Mitra Energi Persada on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    After having delisted its shares from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2007, Mitra Energi Persada relisted 212 billion shares (approximately 11.6 percent of the company’s equity) on the IDX on Monday (04/05). The relisting was a success. Shares of the company, traded under the ticker KOPI, rose almost 50 percent to IDR 590. Mitra Energi Persada was originally established as an e-commerce company but later shifted its business to the energy sector. The company is a trader of natural gas, coal and oil.

  • IPO Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    On Tuesday (24/03), Indonesian hospital operator Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat became the second company to list on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2015. It turned out to be a highly successful initial public offering (IPO) as the company’s shares surged 24.7 percent on its trading debut, reflecting investors’ solid confidence in healthcare stocks. Mitra Keluarga, subsidiary of pharmaceutical company Kalbe Farma, raised IDR 4.4 trillion (USD $341 million), hence constituting the largest IPO since Garuda Indonesia’s IPO in 2011.

  • Bank Yudha Bhakti Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Bank Yudha Bhakti, an Indonesian commercial bank, made its trading debut on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Tuesday (13/01). Shares of the small-sized lender immediately soared nearly 70 percent. The bank, which is listed under the code BBYD, offered 300 million shares (11.9 percent of its equity) to the public for a price of IDR 115 per share thus raising IDR 34.5 billion (USD $2.8 million). The initial public offering (IPO) of Bank Yudha Bhakti is the first IPO on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015.

    Three Indonesian companies are expected to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the first quarter of 2015. These companies are Bank Yudha Bhakti, Mitra Keluarga and Mitra Energi Persada. Hoesen, Director of Corporate Valuation at the IDX, said that the listing of Mitra Energi Persada (an oil, gas and coal distributor) is actually a re-listing as the company had de-listed from the Exchange in 2007. The company is expected to offer 11 percent of its enlarged equity to the public.

  • IPO of Bank Yudha Bhakti on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

    Bank Yudha Bhakti, an Indonesian commercial bank, is preparing an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The company will offer 300 million shares, or 11.9 percent of its enlarged equity, to the public and plans to raise IDR 34.5 billion (USD $2.8 million) as it offers the shares at IDR 115 per piece. The offering starts between 5 and 7 January 2015, while listing at the IDX is planned for 13 January 2015. Underwriters for the IPO are Semesta Indovest and Equator Securities.

    Before the end of the year, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company Kino Indonesia plans to conduct an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The company aims to raise around IDR 1 trillion (approx. USD $74 million) by offering 228.6 million new shares, equivalent to 16 percent of its enlarged capital, to the public. The price range of has been set between IDR 3,750 and IDR 5,225 per share. Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and Indo Premier Securities launched the float on Tuesday (10/11) with book-building to continue until 20 November.

    The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) welcomed Garuda Metalindo as the ninth company that listed on the IDX so far in 2015. The listing was a success as shares of the company, traded under ticker symbol BOLT, rose 50 percent during its trading debut. Garuda Metalindo is a manufacturer of bolts and nuts for the automotive industry and currently owns two factories in Tangerang and Kapuk (Java). Clients of the company include Astra Honda Motor, Kawasaki Motor, Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motor, and Suzuki Indomobil Motor.

    Mega Manunggal Property, an Indonesian developer and provider of logistics facilities, officially listed its shares on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Friday (12/06) hence becoming the sixth company to have conducted an initial public offering (IPO) on the IDX this year and bringing the total number of listed companies on the IDX to 511.     Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat, a leading Indonesian hospital operator and subsidiary of the Kalbe Group, plans to raise about IDR 4.2 trillion (USD $328 million) in an initial public offering (IPO) on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in March 2015. The company plans to offer up to 261.9 million shares, or 18 percent of its enlarged equity, to the public. Five percent of this total constitute new shares, while 13 percent are shares divested by private equity firm Lion Investment Partners.
